Jacob is a creative director focusing on film projects that highlight music composition, choreography/dance, and more. At Berklee College of music his objective was to cultivate an aesthetic for artists/collaborators such as creating music videos and a stylized social media presence to give artists a leg up in standing out in today's digital age.

Jacob has had experience working on all sides of a production whether it be the director, actor, writer, composer, or even dancer/choreographer. He believes this gives him a leg up in efficiency, time management, content value and overall experience. His work includes music composition for numerous short films and a few of his own directed shorts that can be seen on all social media platforms.

Jacob is a hands on, interactive, and collaborative worker with a mission to create a relaxed, encouraging, enthusiastic and efficient work space. His strengths lie in getting to know artists and cultivating projects that reflect them as not only artists but human beings. This is paralleled in not only his artistic work but extracurricular jobs and background.

With the recent success of films like Everything Everywhere All At Once Jacob believes audiences are looking for new types of mediums. He believes this use of combined art forms is the way to revitalize the film industry (especially in the era of AI and Streaming). He would like to hone in these mixed media skills because he believes the best art combines different forms including song, dance, costume, production design, etc.

"I grew up watching golden age movie musicals, Disney animation, Wes Anderson films, Fantasia. A lot of the media I consumed was so stylized but done in a way that had meaning."

 

"My personal philosophy is that music isn’t just an art, it's a part of life. The world has a natural rhythm. Construction work, people talking in a coffee shop, the scuff of someone’s feet. It’s all music. I want to make art that showcases life. I believe my strengths lie in creating an entertaining aesthetic, and using various art forms to create a new media experience that parallels our modern world."
